I think that I like to be annoyed. Every time I read these blogs I know EXACTLY what I'm going to get. Yet, I can't stop. When it's a longer blog I literally HATE reading through it. Yet, that hate drives me forward. I love to hate!!!! What's wrong with me?

It is like when you drive past the scene of a horrific car crash. You know you will be repulsed by what you see. You feel badly for the parties involved. You know it just may cause you nightmares. But you drive by and watch anyway. Just like Garth`s blogs. Especially the fanboy trade proposals. Five goal Samson for Tanev and a #1.
I love it!

What are the chances Perry gets injured in the same game Getzlaf returns? Unbelievable. With that being said, I don't foresee any more trades for the time being. Anaheim Ducks GM Bob Murray has 5 players (at least) that need to be re-signed sooner than later. Given that, the prospect left-handed shooting forwards that'll be getting a look next year, and that Henrique was just traded for; I don't think we will see any more moves until the trade deadline.

Perry's gotten a lot done this season, but I still see a winning group here in Anaheim. I've never been a fan of "saving grace" trades. I think it sends the wrong message to the team, and it causes unnecessary long-term tension that could inhibit re-signings in the future. Moreover, I think trading for someone now is just an excuse mindset. This team, as is, can win hockey games. And if they want to be competitive come playoff time, they need some of these guys to take the next step.

Murray navigated his way through the expansion draft, and was able to get a complete left-shooting forward in Adam Henrique. Eaves's return is still inconclusive. Kesler's getting closer to returning. Yet despite the litany of question marks, this group can still win.

If I were Murray I'd hold my cards until the trade deadline. For the time being, the best move is no move.

I agree. The Henrique trade made sense. He can play anywhere from #1 to #3c. He's a very good player and can be a key component.

If the ducks want to sure up the lineup until guys get back trading assets for Kane would just be Overkill. They could maybe do a bandaid type trade that only costs a draft pick for a guy on an expiring contract, but that's it.

I think both of you guys pretty much nailed it. I mean, it's a terrible look for the site to have one of the first blogs you come across be Garths. But, it's exactly as explained. Like, when you're a kid and can't help but keep picking at a scab.

I am not sure of the fake alias potential used by the blogger in question, however I am happy to see the end of the use of bans to "police" thought. I was banned several times last year for posts were no worse than half of the posts on this thread at this time. A one sided, no nonsensical trade proposals should be able to get called out for what they are. If you want critical comments to stop, then start making sense.
